I will customise an Excel travel costing calculator for travel agents, tour operators and group organisers.
Each order covers one group trip with one selling price for all travellers.
The workbook calculates room requirements, costs per person, per room night or per group, contingency, markup on cost, total trip cost and a rounded quote per person.
Where included, currency conversion uses exchange rates you provide.

Do you find prices or book travel?
This service builds an Excel calculator using the supplier prices you provide. Please supply all-inclusive flight, hotel, transport and other costs. Travel research, itinerary planning, bookings and separate tax calculations are outside these packages.
Are exchange rates updated automatically?
Exchange rates are entered manually. Provide rates expressed as quotation currency per one unit of supplier currency. Currency limits include your quotation currency: 1 for Basic, up to 2 for Standard and up to 4 for Premium.
Can the calculator handle different room types or child prices?
The standard model uses one room occupancy assumption and one selling price for all travellers. Mixed room types, child rates, free places and different customer prices require a separate scope agreed before ordering.
What is the difference between markup and margin?
Markup is added to cost. For example, a cost of 100 with a 15% markup gives a price of 115 and a gross margin of about 13%. The calculator applies markup after contingency; rounding can slightly change the final margin.
What file will I receive?
You will receive an editable Microsoft Excel .xlsx workbook with visible formulas and brief instructions. Tell me your Excel version with your requirements. Google Sheets conversion, VBA macros and external integrations are outside these packages.
What does one revision cover?
One revision is one round of adjustments within the agreed trip and package scope, such as colours, labels or supplied input values. Additional trips, cost lines, currencies or pricing rules require a separate agreement.
