FAQ
I have never studied Hebrew before. Can I start from zero?
Absolutely. I work with complete beginners and can guide you step by step through reading, basic grammar, vocabulary, and speaking.
How many lessons do I need to reach a basic level of Hebrew?
It depends on your pace and how much you practice between lessons. Most students need around 40–80 hours to build a solid beginner foundation and handle basic everyday situations.
Do I need to know the Hebrew alphabet before our first lesson?
No. If you are a complete beginner, we can start with the alphabet, pronunciation, and reading from the very beginning.
Will we practice speaking during the lessons?
Yes. Speaking is an important part of my lessons, even for beginners. We gradually introduce useful phrases and real-life conversations.
Can you help me prepare for moving to Israel?
Yes. We can focus on practical Hebrew for everyday life in Israel, including shopping, appointments, work, bureaucracy, transportation, and communication.
I already speak some Hebrew. Can I still book lessons with you?
Of course. I work not only with complete beginners, but also with students who already have some knowledge of Hebrew. We can assess your current level and focus on the areas you want to improve, such as speaking, grammar, vocabulary, reading, or fluency.
