Your portfolio is one of the most important parts of an Architecture or related Masters application. It needs to do more than showcase attractive projects it should communicate how you think, how you work, what you care about, and where you have the potential to go next.
Having completed my Master in Design Studies at Harvard Graduate School of Design and M.Arch II at the University of Michigan, Ive been through this process myself.
Before our session, Ill review your portfolio in detail.
During our 90-minute 1:1 critique, we can look at:
- Project selection and sequencing
- Portfolio structure and overall narrative
- Individual project storytelling
- Layouts and visual hierarchy
- Drawings, diagrams, imagery and process
- What feels repetitive, unclear or missing
- Alignment with the graduate programs youre targeting
- What to prioritize before submission
My feedback is direct, practical, and specific to your work. Youll leave knowing what is working, what needs improvement, and exactly what to work on next.

What do I need to send before the session?
Please send your current portfolio as a PDF along with the graduate programs or schools you are considering. Your portfolio does not need to be finished — reviewing work in progress is completely fine.
Will you review my portfolio before our call?
Yes. I review your portfolio independently before our session so our 90 minutes can be spent discussing meaningful feedback rather than seeing your work for the first time.
Does my portfolio need to be finished?
No. In many cases, reviewing your portfolio while it is still developing is more useful because there is time to make meaningful changes before submission.
Will you redesign my portfolio for me?
No. This is a strategic portfolio review and critique, not a portfolio graphic-design service. I’ll identify what is working, what needs improvement, and specific changes you can make while keeping the portfolio authentically yours.
Can you review my SOP, CV, or complete application too?
Those are not included in this portfolio package. I offer separate application strategy and complete application services for applicants who want broader support.
Can you guarantee admission to a particular university?
No. Admissions decisions depend on many factors. My role is to help you present your work and thinking as clearly, strategically, and compellingly as possible.
