I will fix bugs and errors in your python script or app

About this gig
Your script worked yesterday and today it doesn't. Or it works on your machine and dies on the server. Or it runs fine until row 4,000.
I find the cause and fix it, in Python.
WHAT I FIX
- Exceptions and tracebacks you can't get past
- Code that broke after a Python or library update
- Scripts that work on small files and fail on real ones
- Wrong output: bad parsing, wrong numbers, silent data loss
- Scripts that hang, leak memory, or run far too slowly
- Environment issues: dependencies, paths, encoding, venv
HOW I WORK
Send the code and a way to reproduce the problem: the failing input or a sample file, plus the exact error. I confirm I can reproduce it before you pay for anything. If I cannot fix it, I tell you and you do not order.
You get the fixed code, a short note on what was wrong and why, and a readme if anything changed in how you run it.
I do not touch code I do not understand, and I do not hand back a patch I cannot explain.

FAQ
What if you can't fix it?
Then you don't pay. I check that I can reproduce the problem before we start. If I get into it and can't solve it, I cancel the order and tell you what I found.
I can't share my whole codebase. Can you still help?
Usually yes. A minimal file that reproduces the error is enough for most bugs. If I do need more context, I will tell you exactly which part and why.
How fast is it?
Most single bugs come back within 24 to 48 hours. Tell me if it is urgent and I will say honestly whether I can hit your deadline before you order.
Do you work in other languages?
This gig is Python. Bash and SQL often show up alongside it and I handle those parts too. For anything else, ask first and I will tell you if it is outside what I do.
Will you explain the fix?
Always. You get what was wrong, why it happened, and what I changed. If the same class of bug can come back, I say where.
