About this Gig
Get a documented SQL query for your analytics or reporting task.
I write and fix PostgreSQL and BigQuery SQL, explain the logic, and deliver a copy-ready .sql file with comments.
I can help with:
- JOINs, CTEs, subqueries, windows, filtering, grouping, and aggregations
- Metrics, reporting datasets, funnels, cohorts, retention, and churn
- SQL errors, incorrect results, debugging, and performance review
You will receive:
- SQL query
- Clear comments and logic
- A copy-ready .sql file
- Brief implementation notes
I mainly work with PostgreSQL and BigQuery and handle SQLite.
Contact me first for more than 6 tables, multiple databases, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, dashboard integration, complex logic, or performance tuning.
For optimization, provide EXPLAIN or EXPLAIN ANALYZE, runtime, data volume, and indexes. Without diagnostics, I can review the code but cannot guarantee faster performance.
I do not provide DBA work, server setup, schema design, ETL pipelines, dashboards, or academic assignments.
An anonymized schema, sample rows, and expected output are usually enough. Never send passwords or production credentials.

FAQ
What database platforms do you support?
I primarily work with PostgreSQL and BigQuery. I can also handle standard SQL tasks in SQLite. Please contact me before ordering if your database uses another SQL dialect.
What information do you need to start?
Please provide the table structure or schema, column descriptions, sample data, the expected result, and your existing query if you need debugging or optimization.
Can you work without direct access to my database?
Yes. In most cases, a schema, sample rows, and a clear description of the expected output are enough. Please remove or anonymize sensitive information.
What counts as one query?
One query is one final SQL statement created for one clearly defined analytical result. A query may include CTEs, joins, subqueries, aggregations, and window functions.
Do you provide database administration or server setup?
No. This Gig focuses on SQL queries for analytics, reporting, debugging, and optimization. Server configuration, backups, permissions, and infrastructure setup are not included.
Can you calculate product metrics and cohort analysis?
Yes. I can create SQL queries for funnels, retention, churn, cohorts, ARPU, conversion rates, and other business or product metrics.
Do you optimize slow SQL queries?
Yes, but performance work requires EXPLAIN or EXPLAIN ANALYZE, current runtime, approximate data volume, and relevant indexes. Without diagnostics, I can provide only a code review and recommendations.
What counts as a revision?
A revision covers corrections within the originally agreed requirements. New metrics, new tables, changed business logic, or a different output are treated as additional work.
