FAQ
What exactly do you need from me to start?
I require a text script which is in its final version. Make sure the correct pronunciations of unusual names or words are included, either in written form or as a recording. On top of this, please include instructions regarding the tone, pacing or style of delivery in case this is required.
Can you provide a custom sample?
Yes, of course! Please send me your script and I will record a small sample to review.
Can I direct the recording in real-time?
Yes, I’m open to being directed in real-time to achieve the best result possible. This can be done through Teams, Zoom, SessionLinkPRO or by phone.
Can I get a revision?
Yes, definitely. I strive to deliver the best end result possible. I therefore include an unlimited number of revisions in my Gig’s as long as it concerns an active order and no changes have been made to the initial script.
What if I am in a hurry?
Generally it is possible to deliver within 2 hours. Feel free to reach out in case of any special requirements.
How do you deliver your voice-over?
The recording will be provided in WAV, PROCessed (de-essed, compressed, etc.) and FLAT format. This will allow you to process and incorporate the recording into your overall project if required. Clicks and breaths can be removed or lowered on request at additional cost.
What equipment do you use?
The microphone I use to record my voice-overs is a Neumann TLM 103 by a PreSonus Audiobox USB96. The audio is recorded and processed in Studio One and delivered to you in WAV. PROCessed (de-essed, compressed, etc.) as well as FLAT.
