Hi! Welcome to Rainshadow Permaculture, an ecological landscape design and consulting business based in Washington, US. Founded by Victoria, she and her team are designers and certified permaculturists with experience working on landscapes worldwide.
This package is ideal for smaller spaces that need clear direction and confident plant selection. We create custom planting plans using ecological principles to ensure your garden is functional, regenerative, and beautiful. Each design is tailored to your climate, soil, and goals so you can move forward knowing youre choosing the right plants from the start.
Deliverables include a scaled planting plan and plant list. Garden types include:
- Front yard, back yard design
- Edible gardens
- Pollinator & cutting gardens
- Native plant gardens
- Medicinal gardens
- Water-wise landscapes
- Hedges
- Rain gardens
- Cottage gardens
- Fruit/nut tree plantings
Once we begin, youll upload site address, documentation (survey, utilities), a questionnaire, and images/videos. Looking forward to it :)

How do you determine pricing?
Pricing is determined by the size of the site and any other unique client/site needs.
How is ecological landscape design different from conventional landscape design?
Ecological design prioritizes harmony with nature, biodiversity, and regeneration, while conventional design often focuses solely on aesthetics. Conventional designs tend to be high in resources such as ongoing maintenance, fertilizers, etc. Ecological design aims to become self sustaining
What is an Implementation Plan?
An Implementation Plan is a step by step guide for the installation and maintenance of your project. Each report is customized and includes things like recommended installation timeline, starting the garden, water management recommendations, and resources to take on your journey.
