Are you a native-english speaker?
Yes! I was born & raised here in NYC. English is my first and preferred language.
Do you use editing software?
I do have systems like Grammarly and spellcheck available upon request, but as a formally educated writer & editor, I don't always find them accurate. Your work is always 100% hand-edited.
What type of editing do you do?
Any! I edit blogs, books, educational articles, press releases, interviews, event coverage, SEO-optimized content, web page copy, product descriptions, reviews, personal emails, non-profit writing, and more.
How do you deliver edits back?
In Microsoft Word, Pages, or Google Docs I will deliver you back that same document with Tracked Changes on so you can see each individual edit. I also offer "clean" versions so that you can move forward with a fully edited hassle-free document (which my repeat clients appreciate).
I need a re-write, can you help?
Of course! Always feel free to send over a preview and I can give you back a custom quote after we assess the need together.
My edit is complicated, I need a consultation to see if we can get this done right.
We can for sure have a consultation before a large project! Trust in editing is earned, not given. I encourage buyers to give me a small "test edit" order to see if we're on the same page, THEN, we can set up a consult call/video to understand our needs and expectations!
What is your pricing, per word or per page?
The pricing above is for 500 - 3,000 words. If it is under or below that count, send me a message and I can get you back a custom quote! A good rule of thumb is professional editors like me price between $0.03-$0.05/word (totally dependant on the scope of work!)
My edit is very large and I can't afford it all today, do you offer pricing plans?
Yes, I have Milestone Delivery available! For example, if your work is 40,000 words, and you want to break it up into affordable pieces, we can set up 4 deliveries of 10k words under the same order and you pay as you go over the month or year! No rush at all, I'll be here to edit when you're ready!
Do you offer revisions?
Although my clients rarely request revisions, I completely understand when they are necessary. I would be happy to incorporate an additional revision; simply confirm before placing your order, and I can accommodate!
