Do I need Google Tag Manager, or can you install GA4 directly?
Both work, but I recommend GTM. It makes future tracking updates much easier without touching your website code. If you're planning to track events, conversions, or integrate other tools (Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight), GTM is essential.
What information do you need from me to get started?
Just three things: (1) Your website URL, (2) Admin access to your website or FTP credentials, (3) Access to create/manage your Google Analytics account. If you don't have a GA account yet, I'll create it for you.
Will this work with Shopify, WordPress, Wix, or custom websites?
Yes! I work with all major platforms including WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, and custom-coded websites. The setup process is the same regardless of platform.
What's the difference between your Basic, Standard, and Premium packages?
Basic gets you GA4 + GTM installed and working. Standard adds event tracking for 5 key actions (form fills, button clicks, etc.). Premium includes everything plus enhanced e-commerce tracking with transaction details, product performance, and revenue attribution.
I already have Universal Analytics. Should I switch to GA4?
Yes, immediately. Universal Analytics stopped collecting data in July 2023. GA4 is completely different and doesn't automatically migrate your old setup. You need a fresh, proper installation to start collecting accurate data again.
Will you teach me how to use Google Analytics after setup?
I provide documentation showing what's been set up and where to find your key metrics. For training on using GA4 reports and insights, I offer that as an add-on service or can recommend resources.
How long does setup take?
Basic setup takes 1-2 hours of actual work, but I allow 4 days for delivery to account for testing and quality assurance. If you need it faster, select the express delivery option.
