Do you need access to my product or API to write documentation?
Yes, ideally. I test APIs and product flows hands-on before writing, since this is how I catch errors other writers miss. If access isn't possible, I can work from your specs or existing docs instead.
What tools and formats do you work with?
I write in Markdown and work directly in GitBook, Notion, Confluence, or Word/Google Docs, whatever your team uses. I can also match an existing style guide or help build one if needed.
Can you write documentation from scratch, or only edit existing docs?
Both. I write new documentation from a blank page, and I also audit and rewrite existing docs that are outdated, unclear, or inconsistent.
How do revisions work?
Each package includes a set of revisions covering edits to structure, clarity, and accuracy. Requests beyond the original scope, like new pages or major topic changes, count as a new order or extra.
What if my product changes after the docs are delivered?
I'm happy to do ongoing updates as a separate order. If you expect regular changes, message me and we can set up a simple monthly retainer instead.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. I regularly work with early-stage products and pre-launch APIs, and I'm comfortable signing an NDA before reviewing any confidential materials.
