About this Gig
Got a new drawing revision and no idea what actually changed? I overlay the two sets in Bluebeam and hand you a sheet-by-sheet record of every difference.
What you get:
- Colour-coded overlay PDF: old set in one colour, new in another, changes obvious at a glance
- Excel change log: sheet number, discipline, what changed, and whether it affects cost or schedule
- Clouds and tags on every revision so your team can review it in Bluebeam or any PDF reader
- Summary of the changes most likely to hit your budget or programme (Standard & Premium)
Unrecorded changes between revisions turn into variation claims, rework and delay. Catching them at issue costs far less than catching them on site.
Scope is by sheet count 25, 75 or 150 sheets so you know exactly what you're buying.
Work is done in Bluebeam Revu using Compare Documents and Overlay Pages, then checked by hand. Automated compare alone misses moved, re-drawn and re-scaled content.
To start: send both revisions as PDF and tell me the sheet count and disciplines. I'll confirm scope before I begin.

FAQ
Do I need Bluebeam to open the deliverable?
No. The overlay is a standard PDF that opens in any reader. The change log is Excel. Bluebeam just gives you extra markup tools.
What if the two revisions are different sheet sizes or scales?
I align them manually before comparing. Mention it upfront so I can allow time.
Are scanned or photographed drawings OK?
Vector PDFs give the best results. Scans work but the comparison is less precise — send a sample first.
