FAQ
What do I need to get started?
Architectural plans (DWG/PDF), project description, and optional IES files, the idea is for you to send me as much information as possible. I will also send you a questionnaire to learn more details and the scope of the project to meet your expectations.
Do you work with real photometric data?
Yes, all simulations use real IES photometry from manufacturers.
Do you choose the luminaires for the project?
Yes, based on design intention, comfort, and technical performance, In the questionnaire, I will inquire about the project's location and review local suppliers, and if necessary, certify luminaires with generic specifications that you could easily obtain anywhere in the world.
Do you include rendered images?
Depending on the package you choose, I could include 3D images generated by Dialux, but these are not renders. If you require renders, I could provide them, but it's a separate service. Tell me the scope of the render so we can discuss it and include it.
Can you work with Revit projects?
Yes. You can send a DWG export and I align the lighting layout accordingly, If you need to "coordinate" with MEP in the electrical discipline of an existing RTV model, we can discuss it and reach an agreement to implement the design in the model under the BIM coordination guidelines of the project.
