I've been running games and building worlds for over a decade now I've played everything from D&D 3.5 to 5e (both editions) and Daggerheart, and most of that time has been spent in Theater of the Mind, which I think is where storytelling really lives.
The way I see it, a character sheet tells a story before anyone rolls a single die. The numbers matter, sure, but they should come from somewhere. So whether I'm building a Daggerheart Adversary sheet or a Character backstory, I start with the same questions: What is this character? Why do they exist in this world? And what happens when everything goes wrong?
Everything I write is meant to land on your table and work, session one, no adjustments needed. I'm also a 3D printing hobbyist, so I get the full picture immersion matters, and I write with that cinematic, you-are-there feeling in mind.

What do you need from me to get started?
Just the basics — your character's Ancestry, Class, Subclass, Background and any ideas you already have in mind. The more you share the better, but even a rough concept is enough to work with.
Can you write a backstory without a filled character sheet?
Absolutely. If you have a concept only but haven't built the sheet yet, we can start from the story and let the stats follow naturally from there.
