FAQ
How many images do you need to get good results?
I wish I could give you an exact number but of course that highly depends on the object you want to capture in 3D. Mostly 50 to 200 images are well enough. As a reference, to elephant statue I show as an example has been created with 140 images.
What settings should a take the pictures with?
Best results are done with a DSLR camera, but you can also take the pictures with your smartphone. A few tips to get nice results: - Use the lowest ISO possible (100) to avoid noise. - Use f/8 aperture to get a wide focal range and avoid depth of field. - High shutterspeed
All my pictures are very large and I don't know how to send them to you.
No problem, if you don't know how to send a large amount of pictures to me I will create a shared folder on my dropbox account. You will then be able to drop your image files into it for the duration of the project.
