I'm a line editor with a reader's instinct and a writer's eye. I read widely across contemporary and literary fiction, and I'm currently editing my own novel, so I know firsthand how much a second pair of eyes changes a piece of writing.

What's the difference between line editing and proofreading?
Proofreading catches typos and grammar mistakes. Line editing goes deeper — I focus on sentence-level flow, voice, pacing, and clarity, helping your writing read smoother and hit harder, not just error-free.
Will you change my writing style or voice?
No — my suggestions are exactly that, suggestions. You're the author, and it's your voice. I flag what's not working and explain why, but you decide what to keep.
What file formats do you accept?
Google Docs is preferred (I'll use Suggesting mode so all edits are tracked). Word documents work too — just let me know if that's what you have.
Do you edit for US or UK spelling?
Both — just let me know your preference when you order, and I'll keep it consistent throughout.
What if I don't like some of the edits?
Totally normal — one round of follow-up revisions is included if anything needs adjusting after you review. You're never obligated to accept a suggestion you disagree with.
Can you edit content with mature themes or dark subject matter?
Yes — let me know upfront so I can confirm it's something I'm a good fit for.
