My work lies somewhere between the word count bands in your packages. Will you still charge the full amount for the package I choose?
If the word count of your piece lies somewhere between the word count bands of my packages, send me a message with the exact word count, and I'll reply with a Custom Offer to save you money.
Do you accept works of fiction longer than 110k words?
Absolutely. Provide me with the exact word count and I’ll be pleased to provide a Custom Offer.
What type of file do you require?
I can work with either a Word or PDF file. Unfortunately, I’m unable to work with cloud-sharing platforms such as Google Docs.
Do you require "trigger warnings" if my work includes violence, profanity and so on?
This is not necessary at all.
Can I send you my creative work chapter by chapter?
Unfortunately, I don’t accept chapters delivered one at a time. I find that, in order to provide the best feedback, I require the entirety of the work to properly appreciate the piece, and to be able to provide a full and comprehensive assessment.
If I make revisions to my work while you're reviewing it, can I send you a revised copy?
Unfortunately not. Once I have started reading your work, I’m committed to providing discerning feedback on the work in hand. After I provide you with the reader report, you can always revise your manuscript, and I’ll be pleased to re-read it as a new order.
If I revise work that you have already read, will you read it (as a new order)?
I’d be delighted to. I fully understand that works in progress go through multiple rounds of revisions. I’m happy to receive a new order to re-review a revised piece I’ve previously read.
What can I expect when you deliver the critique of my work?
My Structural/Developmental Editing Reports vary in length depending on the complexity of the work and how much support I need to provide. As a minimum, my reports are 10+ pages. Each report will also provide examples of good writing for your genre, applied to the specifics of your writing material.
Do you use AI?
I do not use AI in any way. I am the only person reading your work and writing the reader report. My expertise and experience is what you are paying for. And that is what you will get!
What if I have questions based on your reader report?
After I deliver my report, should you have further questions, I can provide a Custom Offer for a writer-led session. This can either be conducted by a list of questions sent as a Word doc, which I’ll answer, or as a video chat via Fiverr's Zoom platform.
