How it works
Here are the steps to complete your Basic package project:

Project Start Initial contact is made between yourself and WPDesigns, followed by discussions on the project to find out the rough direction the project will be taking.

Brand Discovery Further discussion & questions to be filled. The questionnaires provide a relative framework and answer many important questions about the project. Contract & Statement of Work created & signed

User Research & Analysis Investigation into competitors, inspiration sites, ideal customers, what your market is doing in general. Information is compiled and used to create a path forwards.

Concept Design Site Map Creation Initial Mockup Design Revisions on design until it is as desired

Construction The website is developed & created according to the agreed mock up design. Desktop, Tablet, & Mobile versions functioning.

User Testing The user experience of the website will be explored and checked. Website functionality checked and trailed.

Development & Quality Assurance The website will be thoroughly tested, all pages checked, links clicked, and checked over.

Revisions The website will be presented on the build site and linked into the revisions software. This will then be used to check over the site and make sure everything is looking, and operating as expected.

Project Transfer & Launch The website will be checked again & then the site files copied from the development site and imported to the live site. The website can also be delivered as files for later installation if needed.

Optional: Ongoing Maintenance &/or SEO Maintenance should be done regularly to ensure the site stays operating as it should. This can be done by yourself or me. Search Engine Optimization is also available to help rank in Google.

How long will it take to build my website?
The standard time line varies greatly depending on what exactly you need to have done. There are many factors to take into account, to name but a few - the size and complexity of the project, the speed at which content is given, and speed at which revisions are given back.
Will I be able to update the website myself once it is finished?
Yes of course you can! Being able to update and change the website on your own is a great reason to have a WordPress website - it can be as simple or as complicated as you need. You will have full and unlimited access to be able to add, edit and remove whatever you need or see fit.
How much input do I have in the website design process?
A lot! Your input and feedback is crucial to the successful customization of your website. We will begin the process with a lot of questions about your needs, your likes, your wants, and work alongside you to develop just the right style, design and functionality.
Who provides the content, text, copywriting for the website?
You do! It is best if the majority of the content comes from you as who knows your business better? We are always happy to give title suggestions and alternatives if needed. If you require a dedicated copywriter for your website you can add it in the gig extras.
What do you use to build my website?
Generally the website is built using Webstudio as it is an incredibly efficient, customisable and flexible tool when combined with some code. The whole site is built from the ground up according to your requirements. We also work with WordPress.
What is the difference between your website packages?
The website packages are designed to be suitable for a range of needs and criteria and the packages can be selected as needed. If you require something outside of the packages then this can be created using a custom order.
Will Google be able to find my website?
When the website is created we will build in the basic Search Engine Optimization features, but you can opt to have us create your XML site map, optimize the headers and meta data and register you on Google. If you require the later then this is available as an SEO gig extra.
