FAQ
What does a mobile app accessibility audit include?
I manually test your iOS or Android app with VoiceOver and TalkBack on real devices. You get a prioritized report with each issue’s severity, user impact, WCAG criterion, and a fix your developers can follow.
Which accessibility standards do you test against?
WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA, with the findings mapped to ADA, Section 508 and the European Accessibility Act (EAA, EN 301 549). Tell me which one your business needs and I’ll organize the report around it.
Do you test iOS and Android apps?
Yes. iOS is tested with VoiceOver and Android with TalkBack. The Basic and Standard packages cover one platform, and Premium covers both. You can also add the second platform as an extra.
Which app types and frameworks do you support?
Native apps (Swift, Kotlin, Java), React Native, Flutter and other hybrid apps. If you’re not sure how your app was built, send me the link and I’ll confirm before you order.
What do I need to send you to start?
A live app store link, an APK, or a TestFlight invite, plus test login details if your app needs an account. Message me first so we can confirm the scope and screen count.
Do you use automated scanners or manual testing?
Mainly manual testing with real assistive technology, because automated tools miss most mobile issues such as focus order, labels and gesture problems.
Will you fix the accessibility issues for me?
My audit gives your developers clear, step-by-step remediation guidance. If you want me to help implement fixes, message me for a custom offer.
