Hi folks,

I am a bioinformatician with a specialization in Transcriptomics data analysis. I have 10+ years of expertise in the field and have been working with model and non-model species, from snails to fish to humans.

I am familiar with different Softwares and programs required to perform the required bioinformatic analyses. I will analyze, visualize, and assist in writing high-quality scientific articles on Bioinformatics. I can successfully perform:

1. Data preprocessing (QC and trimming reads)
2. Mapping your data onto a genome or a reference transcriptome
3. Visual inspection of data by means of PCA-MDS analyses
4. Differential gene expression analysis in R with edgeR, DeSeq2 and limma
5. Gene clustering
6. Functional analyses to give biological insights into your data. Including:

• Pathways Analysis (i.e. KEGG, DAVID)
• Gene Ontology Analysis (i.e. BP, CC, and MF)
• Gene Set Enrichment Analysis with any functional dataset
• Functional analyses with custom gene sets
