Do you file the patent for me?
No. I do not offer any legal patent filing, attorney services, or USPTO/EPO submissions. I provide technical drawings, illustrations, and product documentation that support your attorney or patent agent in preparing a strong application.
What types of patents do you support?
I support both Design Patents and Utility Patents, and I also prepare illustration sets that meet USPTO, EPO, and WIPO standards for international filings. This includes compliant orthographic views for design patents and functional or mechanical diagrams for utility patents.
What file formats will I receive?
You will receive high-resolution PDF files ready for submission, along with JPG or PNG versions for review. If needed, I can also provide vector files such as AI or SVG, and in the premium package, I can include the original source files as well.
Can you work from rough sketches or an existing prototype?
Yes, I can work from hand-drawn sketches, photos, existing products, videos, or 3D CAD files. If you do not have a CAD model, I can also create the model before preparing the patent illustrations. You can check my Product Designing and CAD Modeling gig for this assistance.
Do your drawings meet USPTO or EPO standards?
Yes, all drawings are prepared according to USPTO, EPO, and WIPO requirements, including correct line thickness, margins, view labeling, shading style, and overall formatting. The output will be suitable and compliant for attorney submission.
How many views are required for a Design Patent?
A complete design patent usually includes front, back, left, right, top, bottom, and perspective views. If the design is symmetrical or certain views are identical, your attorney may allow omission of some views, and I can prepare the drawings accordingly.
Do you provide exploded views and function diagrams for Utility Patents?
Yes, I provide exploded view drawings, sectional diagrams, mechanism illustrations, part labeling, numbering, and functional diagrams required for utility patent applications. All illustrations follow standard patent office formatting and visual clarity guidelines.
Can you make revisions after the attorney reviews the drawings?
Yes, revisions are included based on the package you select. I can update drawings according to your attorney’s feedback to ensure everything meets the submission requirements.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes, I can sign your NDA or provide my own. All information, files, and ideas shared with me remain fully confidential and protected throughout the project.
How long does the delivery take?
Delivery time depends on the package. Basic orders take 3–4 days, standard orders take 4–6 days, and premium orders take 5–7 days. Faster 24–48 hour delivery may be available if you have an urgent filing deadline. You can check the shared packages as well as reach out to me for further assistance.
