I will find performance bottlenecks in your elixir production system
About this gig
Slow requests? Timeouts? Memory creeping up? Random 500s nobody can explain?
Guessing is expensive. Measuring is cheap.
I'll find what's actually wrong with your Elixir/OTP production system with data, not opinions.
How it works (Standard):
- I instrument your Phoenix/Elixir app with OpenTelemetry (traces, metrics)
- You run it in production for a week (I support the rollout)
- I analyze the data and deliver a report: what's slow, why, and how to fix it in priority order
You get:
- Production-ready OpenTelemetry instrumentation for your codebase
- Bottleneck report based on real production data not guesses
- Prioritized fix roadmap with effort estimates
- A monitoring setup you keep this investment outlives the gig
I'm an Elixir/OTP architect with 15+ years in telecom, crypto, and iGaming systems handling millions of events daily. Building observability into high-load production systems is literally my day job.
Basic option: static code analysis only I'll hunt for the classic OTP bottleneck patterns without production access.
Message me first with your stack (Phoenix version, hosting, current monitoring) I'll confirm which package fits before you order.

FAQ
Do you need production access?
No. I prepare the instrumentation code + setup instructions; your team deploys it. For Premium, read-only dashboard access (OpenObserve or PostHog) helps but isn't required.
Which backends do you support?
Any OTel-compatible. But I prefer - Openobserve inside cluster - PostHog in the cloud - Datadog in the cloud
What if we already have some monitoring?
Great — I'll review what you have and fill the gaps. Message me and I'll adjust the scope.
Will instrumentation slow down production?
Properly done, overhead is minimal (<1-2%). I configure sampling and safe defaults.
Can you implement the fixes afterward?
Yes — as a separate custom offer after the report.
My app isn't Phoenix (plain Elixir/Erlang).
Not a great deal. Message me and we'll discuss.
