FAQ
What do I need to send you to get started?
A sketch, photo, hand drawing, sample part or existing 3D file - whatever you have. Also tell me the manufacturing process, material, quantity and any critical dimensions. If you only have an idea in your head, describe it and I will send back questions to fill the gaps.
Do I own the design and get editable source files?
Yes. You receive full commercial rights and the native editable files (SLDPRT, SLDASM, SLDDRW) plus neutral STEP and IGES, so any engineer or factory can pick the project up later. No licence fees, no lock-in.
Can you design for injection molding, CNC and sheet metal?
Yes. Every model is built around the process you name: draft angles, uniform wall thickness and gate/ejector planning for molding; tool access, radii and fixturing for CNC; bend radii, K-factor and flat patterns with DXF export for sheet metal.
Will my factory be able to quote from these files?
That is the whole point. You get dimensioned GD&T drawings with tolerances, materials and finishes, a BOM, and STEP files. Buyers routinely send my file packs straight to Chinese, US and EU suppliers and get quotes back without follow-up questions.
What if my part is more complex than the package I ordered?
Nothing gets cancelled. I review the scope before starting and send a custom offer for the difference, or add the extra parts as gig extras. You approve the price before any work begins.
Do you do reverse engineering from a physical sample?
Yes. Send calliper measurements and clear photos with a scale reference, or ship me a 3D scan or STL mesh, and I will rebuild it as a clean parametric solid model that can be modified and manufactured.
Can you provide FEA simulation or renders?
Yes, both are available as gig extras. FEA covers static structural and thermal studies with a written report. Renders are photorealistic studio images suitable for pitch decks, crowdfunding pages and Amazon listings.
