Should I upgrade to Drupal 10 or go straight to Drupal 11?
If you are on Drupal 8 or 9 the path always runs through Drupal 10 first. Once we are there I can take you on to Drupal 11 if all your contrib and custom code is ready. I check that in the audit and tell you which target makes sense.
What if a contrib module has no Drupal 10 or 11 release?
There is nearly always a way. I apply an official patch, move you to the module that replaced it, use the core feature that now covers it, or write a small custom module. You get the options and my recommendation before I change anything.
Will the upgrade change how my website looks?
Not unless you want it to. I can port your existing theme to the new core so the design stays the same, or rebuild it on a modern base theme like Olivero. Either way you see it on a staging URL and approve it before we go live.
Do you fix deprecated code in custom modules and themes?
Yes, that is the main part of this gig. I run Upgrade Status and Drupal Rector to find every deprecated call, then rewrite the code by hand against the new API so your custom functionality still works after the upgrade.
What access do you need and how do you handle my logins?
I need admin access plus hosting or cPanel, and SSH or FTP if available. Please send credentials only through the Fiverr order page, never in a public message. I work on a staging copy and you can change the passwords once the job is delivered.
What happens if something breaks after the upgrade?
I test forms, Views, permissions and layouts before launch, and I keep a full backup so we can roll back in minutes. If anything shows up after go live, message me and I fix it as part of the order.
