Which Drupal versions can you migrate from and to?
I migrate from Drupal 6, 7, 8 and 9 to Drupal 10 or 11. Drupal 7 to 10 or 11 is the most common request. Send me your current version and I will confirm the best target release for your site.
Will my content, URLs and SEO rankings survive the migration?
Yes. Nodes, users, taxonomy, media and custom fields are all migrated. I keep your URL aliases, add 301 redirects where paths must change, and carry over meta tags and the sitemap to protect rankings.
What happens to modules that do not exist in Drupal 10 or 11?
I map every contrib module to its Drupal 10 or 11 release, or to the closest maintained alternative. If a module is abandoned with no replacement, I rebuild that feature with core tools or custom code.
Will my live site go down during the migration?
No. The new site is built on a staging copy with a full backup of the old one. Your live site keeps running and we only switch over at a time you choose, after you have reviewed and approved it.
Can you keep my current design or do I need a new theme?
Both options work. I can rebuild your existing design as a responsive Drupal 10 or 11 theme, or set up a modern base theme for a fresh look. Tell me which you prefer and I will quote it.
How long does a Drupal 7 to 10 or 11 migration take?
A small brochure site is usually a few days. Sites with many content types, custom modules or integrations take longer. Send me your site URL and I will give you a realistic timeline before you order.
