Do I need to buy my own server before ordering?
Yes. You must have an active VPS subscription (Ubuntu 20.04) from providers like DigitalOcean, Hetzner, AWS or Linode. I do not provide the hosting; I only perform the technical setup.
Will this VPN block YouTube ads?
Pi-hole blocks ads at the DNS level (trackers and web banners). While it is excellent for apps and web browsing, it cannot block ads that are served from the same domain as the content, such as integrated YouTube or Facebook ads.
Can I use this VPN on my iPhone, Android, and PC?
Absolutely. I will provide you with WireGuard configuration files and QR codes. You simply need to download the official WireGuard app on your device and scan the code or import the file.
Is my browsing data private from the VPS provider?
While the VPN encrypts your traffic between your device and the VPS, the VPS provider can technically see the destination of your traffic once it leaves the server. For maximum privacy, I recommend choosing a "privacy-friendly" VPS provider.
