Need a clean, professional green screen or blue screen key? I can help you create a precise, production-ready alpha using Foundry Nuke and a structured keying workflow designed to preserve fine details such as hair, motion blur, and semi-transparent edges.

I divide my keying process into three main stages:

1. Core Key

I create a solid core matte that provides a strong foundation for the key. The alpha is extended from the center of the subject to ensure a clean and consistent silhouette while maintaining the important details of the foreground.

2. Soft Key

For fine and semi-transparent areas, I use IBK Color, IBK Gizmo, and additional keying techniques to extract a more natural matte. This helps preserve details around hair, edges, motion blur, and other difficult areas that a simple key may lose.

3. Despill

Finally, I remove unwanted green or blue color contamination from the subject. I carefully control the despill so the result looks natural and the original colors of the foreground are preserved as much as possible.

The final result is a clean, refined matte and properly despilled foreground, ready to be integrated into your shot or composited over a new background.
