Hi, I’m Will—the artist behind Will & Whiskers. My journey with art has been lifelong and has taken me through graphic design, animation, 3D Modelling and texturing, and illustration, winning several awards along the way. Exploring my imagination and bringing life to things seen and imagined has always appealed to me. I’ve worked extensively in digital media, but my passion has led me back to traditional art, I always love exploring different materials, techniques, and styles! Alongside that has always been an even stronger love for animals: So I photograph, draw and paint them wherever I can!

How many Pets can I have in a picture?
One pet per painting, you can select additional pets in extras. No People, just the pets please.
Will you paint animals other than cats and dogs?
Definitely. Whether your companion is feathered, hooved, scaled, or something more exotic—every pet is welcome.
Can you create a painting in specific colours?
Yes. Before I start working on the painting, I will discuss everything with you and work with incorporating your preferences and wishes.
What if I don’t have a perfect photo?
No worries! I can work from multiple references to create a portrait that reflects your pet’s spirit, even if it’s in memory of them.
Can I request a custom size or style?
Absolutely. The standard size is in the A5/A4/A3 paper ratio, and with my semi realistic colour style or black and white line drawings. but I’m also happy to work on unique formats or creative ideas. Just get in touch and we’ll see what’s possible. I enjoy experimenting with styles.
How big are the images?
They are created for A3 printing, high-resolution 300dpi images (3508 x 4961 pixels) select the Grand option for ultra high-resolution 600dpi for even larger printing if you have something very big and special in mind
Can I use my portrait commercially?
All artwork is for personal use only unless a commercial license has been selected.
Will you ship it to me?
No, this is a digital only product. Should you wish to have a physical artwork you must print the high resolution file. I can make an original actual physical painting from scratch and ship, but that is another gig.
Do you use AI in your art?
NO. All my pet portraits are made by hand, even if digitally. NO AI generative art is used. no photo manipulation or cheap trick filters. I paint every detail by hand with care.
