Messy exports or inconsistent spreadsheets? I will clean and merge your CSV or Excel data using rules we agree on before work begins.
What I do:
- Trim whitespace and standardize formats
- Unify column names
- Remove exact duplicates by a key you confirm
- Merge files with compatible structures
- Check required fields and flag problems instead of guessing
What you get:
- The cleaned file (CSV or Excel, your choice)
- An exceptions list for anything ambiguous - I flag it, I don't guess
- A short validation summary showing exactly what changed: rows in, rows removed, rows out
Example of the summary:
Input: 1,000 rows. Removed 48 duplicates by customer_id. Output: 952 rows.
12 ambiguous dates flagged, not changed. Leading zeros preserved. Your source files are never overwritten.
This Gig covers data values in tables only. It does not include scraping, research, macros, dashboards, or complex formulas.

Will you change values you're unsure about?
No. Ambiguous dates, conflicting records, and anything I can't verify go into the exceptions list with a note. You decide what to do with them.
Can you work with formulas, macros, or pivot tables?
This Gig covers data values only. If your file relies on formulas or macros, message me first and I'll tell you honestly whether it's in scope.
What format will I receive?
CSV or Excel - your choice. Tell me which one when you order.
Do I need to send my real data?
Please anonymize or sample it before sending. I only need enough to confirm the structure and rules.
