I will teach you basic percussion

Teaching a percussion class in basic format for an entry level student.  I will teach basic:

• Congas patterns
• Basic Bongo patterns
• Hand percussion instruments like jingle bells, guiro, bell, and triangle.

The classes will help you improve your technic and playing. I will give you exercises for your every day practice.  Also, I will share my knowledge in hand percussion to help you play in a band setting. I will cover Latin rhythms for salsa music, and plena from Puerto Rico, merengue, and cover jazz and hip-hop rhythms.  I will help you understand your roll in a band and what you can do or not do as a percussionist.
