Already have a tattoo idea but no clean, workable design to take to the studio?
Send me your sketch, reference collage, existing design or AI-generated image. I use around 20 years of studio experience to improve composition, readability and detail, then prepare artwork that makes the tattooist's job easier.
This gig is for:
clients who want to enter the studio with a usable design and stencil
tattooists who want to avoid redrawing supplied client material
Packages:
Basic: clean stencil from one simple existing design
Standard: refined black-and-grey design plus tattoo-ready stencil
Premium: creative restructuring, refined artwork and tattoo-ready stencil
Please provide the intended size and body placement. If you have chosen a tattooist, send examples of their work so I can see the linework and detail level they may prefer.
You receive high-resolution files and a clean stencil prepared at the agreed size, ready for printing and transfer.
The tattooist is responsible for checking final fit, placement and any technical adjustments before tattooing. Third-party references are used for direction, not copied line for line.

Hey, I’m Chris, the tattooist behind Tattoo Wingman. I bring around 20 years of studio experience and more than 30 years of collecting tattoos.
I regularly see good tattoo ideas buried inside rough sketches, reference collages and AI-generated images. Cleaning them up, improving the composition and making them work better on skin and over time is the part I genuinely enjoy.
I refine existing ideas into clearer, more tattooable concepts, regardless of subject or style. I´d love to hear what you have in mind!
FAQ
Will I receive a tattoo-ready stencil?
Yes. Every package includes a clean stencil file prepared at the agreed size and ready to print and transfer. The tattooist should still check fit, placement and any small technical adjustments before applying it.
Will you send a physical stencil?
No. This is a digital service. You receive a high-resolution stencil file prepared at the agreed size for your tattooist to print. No physical stencil or transfer paper is shipped.
What kind of reference can I send?
You can send sketches, reference collages, existing designs or AI-generated images in any style or colour. This gig delivers black-and-grey artwork and/or clean black stencil linework.
How much of your own creative input is included?
Basic converts one simple existing design into a clean stencil. Standard refines the composition while staying close to your idea. Premium includes more creative restructuring and input from me.
What do you need before you begin?
Please send your references, intended size in centimetres or inches, body placement and all must-keep elements. If you have chosen a tattooist, include a few examples of their work.
Do you check lettering, names or dates?
I use the text exactly as supplied. You are responsible for confirming spelling, grammar, names, dates and translations. Check every character carefully before tattooing.
What counts as a revision?
Revisions cover reasonable adjustments to the agreed design, such as linework or detail changes. A new subject, style or substantially different composition requires a new order or custom offer.
Do you work on sleeves, backpieces or major cover-ups?
Not through these fixed packages. Full sleeves, backpieces, major cover-ups and complex multi-part compositions require a separate discussion. Please message me before ordering.
