What access do you need?
WordPress admin access and hosting panel access (cPanel, Plesk, or equivalent). Some steps require server-level config. I’ll confirm exactly what’s needed before we start.
Will hardening affect my site’s functionality?
No changes go live before being tested for compatibility with your theme and plugins. If anything conflicts, I’ll flag it and suggest alternatives.
Will my site go down during the process?
No. I take a full backup first and work in stages. The site stays live throughout.
Do you use automated tools?
Security plugins are part of the process, but every rule and setting is configured manually for your specific environment — defaults aren’t adequate.
Does this prevent all future attacks?
No hardening is absolute. But it makes your site significantly harder to compromise than a default install — attackers follow the path of least resistance, and this moves you off that path.
