What do you need from me to get started?
Your book cover, blurb, author bio, buy links, and a headshot if you have one. Plus domain and hosting access. No hosting yet? Message me and I'll recommend the right option for your budget before you order.
My book isn't published yet. Can you still build my author website?
Yes. I'll build the full site with a placeholder cover and blurb, then swap in the real content free once you publish, as long as you send it within 60 days of delivery.
Can I sell books directly from my site, or just link to Amazon?
Both. Standard includes buy links to Amazon, B&N, Kobo and others. Premium adds a WooCommerce store with Stripe or PayPal so you can sell signed paperbacks, ebooks or merch directly to readers.
Do you design children's book author websites?
Yes, and they're some of my favourite work. Bright palettes, illustration-led layouts, parent-friendly navigation, and space for activity sheets or read-aloud videos. Send your illustrations and I'll build around them.
I write romance, fantasy or thriller. Will the design match my genre?
That's the whole point. A dark romance site shouldn't look like a business consultancy. I pull palette, typography and mood straight from your cover art so readers recognise your genre instantly.
Can you build just a book launch landing page?
Yes, that's the Basic package. One high-converting page with your cover, blurb, preorder or buy button, email capture, and a countdown if you have a launch date. Delivered in 3 days.
Will I be able to edit the website myself afterwards?
Yes. Every delivery includes a video walkthrough showing you how to update text, images, book pages and blog posts in Elementor. No coding, and no coming back to me for small changes.
Do you set up my email list and newsletter?
Yes, from Standard up. I connect Mailchimp, MailerLite, ConvertKit or your preferred platform, build the signup forms, and can add a free-chapter lead magnet as a gig extra.
Will my site work on mobile and show up on Google?
Every build is mobile-first. Standard and Premium include on-page SEO: title tags, meta descriptions, image alt text, XML sitemap and Google Search Console setup so your name and titles are findable.
How long does it really take?
3 days for a landing page, 5 for a 5-page site, 7 for the full platform, assuming content arrives promptly. Express delivery is available as a paid extra on all three packages.
