What software do you use for formatting the books?
I use Adobe InDesign as all professional formatters use.
Can you provide me a word file?
No. I work with Adobe Indesign so I'll not have your book in Word format after formatting is done. I can only provide you a PDF file ready to print or an EPUB file for e-book publishing beside your Adobe InDesign source files.
Can you provide me the source file?
Yes. I always deliver the source files at the end in Adobe InDesign format.
What files will I receive?
We will send you a print-ready PDF file along with all editable source files of your completed book. This PDF is guaranteed to be accepted by Amazon KDP Print, Barnes and Noble, and IngramSpark. If you have any issues uploading your book, please get in touch and we’ll walk you through any steps.
What’s your turnaround?
We know that your time is precious. We guarantee that your book will be returned to you - fully formatted and converted, within the mentioned time in our conversation. If you are looking for a faster turnaround, please let me know first and I will try my best to help.
Will I be able to edit the book text after your formatting?
Yes, I will give you Adobe Indesign, Word doc, or canva link as your source file, and using that, you will be able to edit your content.
How many revision rounds do I have?
You'll have unlimited revision rights. However please don't forget, your revision requests should be related to only the design!
If I have a revision after formatting is done, what should I do?
You can always update and reexport your book by using the source file I delivered. However, because your source file is in Adobe InDesign format, it may be hard to make changes to it for you. But no worries, I'll always be here for any future questions and requests.
How can I open the EPUB file?
EPUB is a special file format for the e-reader programs or devices. So you need to use one of them to open the EPUB files. You can open and review the EPUB file using the "iBooks" on your Apple device, the "Google Play Books" on your Android device, and the "Calibre Reader" on your Windows device.
