Typically, I will read the script once over and take a short hand of thoughts along the way. Then, I go back through the script line-by-line and edit each line to make it really pop! At times, I will suggest adding additional lines. At others, I will suggest removal of certain lines.

I focus on tone and pace first and foremost. This includes decluttering the script of anything that isn't working or making your script a smooth read. Word choice, verbiage, and grammar are all points of focus. The key is sharpening your story into something readers will not be able to put down.
