A letter of inquiry, or LOI, is a short letter you send a funder before a full application. It introduces your organization, describes the program you need funding for, states the amount you are requesting, and invites the funder to request a full proposal. Many foundations require one first.
What do you need from me to get started?
Your organization's name and mission, details about the specific program, the funder you are approaching, the amount you plan to request, and any deadline. A short list of questions after you order walks you through all of it.
Do you research the funder for me?
Yes. In the Standard and Premium packages, I tailor your letter to the funder's priorities and language. The Basic package is written from the information you provide and is best when you already know what the funder wants.
Can you write the letter in Spanish?
Yes. My Premium package includes a full Spanish language version of your letter alongside the English one. I am bilingual and write both fluently.
