I will build a web app for satellite and gis data visualization
About this gig
Are you looking to monitor forests, vegetation, or land cover using satellite imagery, delivered through a clear and usable web application?
I build custom forest monitoring applications using remote sensing, GIS, and modern web technologies. This gig is based on real production experience including Forest Scan, a satellite-based forest monitoring platform that I built, deployed, and currently maintain on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
My goal is simple: turn complex satellite data into practical tools and insights you can actually use.
What I Can Help You With
- Forest cover and vegetation monitoring
- Satellite-based vegetation health analysis (e.g. NDVI)
- Biomass modelling & landcover analysis
- Deforestation and change detection over time
- Custom geospatial web applications
Typical workflow:
- Understand your project goals and area of interest
- Process and analyze satellite imagery using proven remote sensing methods
- Build an interactive map or full web application
- Deliver a clean, scalable, and well-documented solution
Please message me before ordering so we can discuss your project requirements and choose the best package. I am also available for long-term projects at $20/hour.

FAQ
Must I have a Google Cloud Platform account for this?
Unfortunately yes. Some of the key components of the project would be the Maps JavaScript API, which require a key. The images will also have to be stored in the assets directory.
Will you host the application once you are through?
Yes! unless you want to use a different hosting agency, I will be doing so using Google Cloud Platform App Engine.
What tech stack will you be using
My preferred tech stack are; Nuxt.js + typescript, FastAPI, Google Maps/Mapbox, Google Cloud Platform
