About this Gig
As a writer myself, I know firsthand how nerve-racking it can be to place your book in someone else's hands. I hope that my experience can be a comfort to you, and that my services meet the needs of your story. If you would like to receive a first chapter edit for $30, please message me as this can be a great way to see if my editing style matches what you're looking for.
This gig includes:
- Developmental edits: I will look at the actual content of your manuscript and provide in-line comments along with an edit letter after reading the work. This includes characterization, world-building, plot/structure, and dialogue/voice. Note: I do not write new content into the manuscript. These are given as suggestions.
- Copy edits: I will also provide a standard copy edit that checks for grammar, punctuation, spelling and general sentence readability. This will be done in-text via Track Changes on Microsoft Word (or Google Docs if more suitable). Pricing for this is subject to change if more line edits are needed.
Developmental and copy edits are also available individually. All genres are welcome. I offer custom pricing for any word count!

What genres are you able to edit?
I accept any genre! I have tons of experience editing both fiction and non-fiction and always welcome new projects as I'm constantly aiming to keep learning and growing as both an individual and editor.
What file formats do you accept?
I will accept a Word document or Google Document so I can track all changes and leave comments. If these don't work for you, please feel free to let me know in a message so I can make accommodations as needed.
Do you provide custom orders?
Yes! Please feel free to message me if your word count is not listed, or you have further questions. I try to answer all messages ASAP!
Are you able to read and edit any potentially triggering topics?
While it's always kind if you provide me with this information in your introductory message, I do accept any sensitive topics and will handle the edits with extra care and detail. I will also let you know if you should have a trigger warning at the start of your novel.
Will you write new content for my book or ghostwrite?
Unfortunately, I am not a ghostwriter and don't write new content into your manuscript. However, I do provide detailed edits that will help you add in missing aspects of your story, and I also provide detailed copy edits that help strengthen the writing.
