How do I get an API key?
Create a free account at console.anthropic.com, add a small amount of credit, and click “Create key.” My install guide walks you through every step, with no tech experience needed.
How much will the API key cost me?
Usually a few dollars a month for a small business, depending on how many customers chat with your bot. I recommend setting a monthly spending limit in your Anthropic account so you’re never surprised.
Do I have to share my API key with you?
No, never. You add it yourself during setup, and it stays private to you. Never send your key to anyone, including me.
