I will compose emotional and nuanced music for your indie game

About this gig
Hi, I'm Benji known as xb32Philya.
I'm an electronic music producer and also an indie game developer myself, which means I understand the unique musical needs of games in a way that's hard to get from a pure musician. You can trust your project with me.
My style range is broad, but centers on emotion and sound design. Dubstep is my strongest suit, and I'm also capable of piano-driven pieces and orchestral arrangements with simpler instrumentation. That said, I generally don't take on traditional EDM or Hardstyle.
Revision policy: please concentrate your revision requests before the Demo is finalized. Once you've approved the Demo, I won't be able to write an entirely new track based on a sudden change of direction but you're welcome to request adjustments to small details or mix balance. If I personally feel a track has room for improvement, I may proactively suggest and make free revisions though this isn't part of the base service guarantee.
Commercial use: every track you commission through this platform comes with full commercial licensing. You're free to decide whether to credit me in your project.

FAQ
Can you do Hardstyle / Trance / full orchestral scores?
Not currently — my focus is dubstep, ambient, and lighter piano/orchestral accents. I'd rather be upfront than deliver something that doesn't fit my strengths.
How many revisions do I get?
Concept-level revisions are unlimited before Demo approval. After approval, only mix-level adjustments (balance, EQ) are included.
What file formats do I receive?
WAV + MP3 for the final track. Project file screen recordings are available on request for verification purposes if you're worried about AI. Feel free to ask me if you need transcoding to other major formats.
My scene needs a longer loop than what's listed — is that possible?
Yes, you can select "Extra Services" to extend the recording duration; alternatively, if you have longer content, feel free to contact me anytime for a custom quote. But don't worry—sometimes I might end up writing more than you originally expected.
Can you add more layers/instruments to the arrangement?
Absolutely — richer arrangements are available via the "Additional instrument track" extra, or consider Standard/Premium tiers which include more instruments by default. However, most of the time I wouldn't recommend doing this; sometimes, you might not necessarily pick up on all those layers
Do you layer multiple tracks to create a single sound?
I don't usually need to, but if I do, I'll clearly explain which tracks are grouped together to form a single instrument, not the raw track count. Because that's not fair to you.
Anything worth to know? #1
Some of the layers are subtle by design, and can be hard to notice without headphones. If you're reviewing on phone speakers or laptop speakers, you might miss some of the depth — I'd recommend giving the demo a listen with headphones at least once before finalizing feedback.
Anything worth to know? #2
Complexity ≠ Quality start with the emotions you wish to convey—these are far more valuable than complex engineering. There is no need to deliberately cram in a multitude of elements just to achieve a high price-to-performance ratio.
Anything worth to know? #3
Sync the music to your game's cutscene/trailer footage is not included by default, but I'm happy to discuss this as a custom add-on if your project needs precise timing alignment.
