What is the difference between an Arabic wordmark and a custom font?
A wordmark is a standalone, custom-designed logo using your brand name in Arabic. A custom font is a complete set of letters that you can install on your computer to type any word you want.
Will the Arabic letters connect correctly when I type?
Yes. Arabic letters change shape depending on where they are placed in a word. We program the font carefully so every initial, medial, and final letter connects smoothly and naturally.
Can my font support both Arabic and English/Latin text?
Yes. You can select the "Latin Font Pairing" extra when placing your order. We will design matching English letters so your brand looks consistent in both languages. Adding this usually takes an extra 3 - 5 days.
Do you include vowel marks (harakat or tashkeel) in the design?
We can include them if your project requires it. Just let us know in the requirements section, and we will make sure they are placed beautifully within the text.
Do you offer OpenType features like ligatures and stylistic alternates?
Yes! OpenType features such as ligatures, stylistic alternates, and diacritic adjustments can be added as a Gig Extra.
Do you use automated converters to make the font?
No. We draw the letterforms and engineer the connections manually. This hands-on process goes above and beyond standard generators to ensure your font is original and works without technical errors.
Can I request revisions?
Yes! Each package includes revision rounds to refine your font based on your feedback. If you need additional revisions, you can purchase them separately.
What if I need a font in a specific style?
I can design fonts in traditional Arabic calligraphy, modern Arabic typography, Kufic, Diwani, Naskh, and more. Just let me know your preferred style!
Can I use the final design for my business?
Yes. Once the order is complete, you receive full commercial rights. You can use the wordmark or font for your products, website, packaging, and marketing materials.
