What I do:

How it works:
1. You send me the file access or a zip of the site, plus the error you see.
2. I find the real cause and tell you what it is before I touch anything.
3. I fix it, test it, and send you the changed files with a short note.
I've written classic ASP for 20 years and built over 300 sites. Most of my work now is other people's legacy code, so messy old code doesn't scare me.
Not a fit if: you want the site rewritten in .NET, PHP, or a modern framework. I keep classic ASP running.

FAQ
My site shows a 500 error. Can you fix it without the source?
Usually yes. A 500 error hides the real message by default, so my first step is turning on detailed errors on your server or reading the IIS log. Once I see the actual line, I can tell you what broke. Send me FTP access and I'll check before you order.
Do you work on old ASP code you didn't write?
That's most of my work. I take over legacy code written by someone else, often with no comments and no documentation. I read it, map how the pages talk to each other, then fix the part that's broken. I don't rewrite your whole site unless you ask me to.
How fast can you fix a simple error?
Two days is my fastest on the Basic package, and that's a real number, not a sales line. Bigger jobs like a hosting move or a full audit take 5 to 7 days. If your site is down and losing orders, message me first and I'll tell you what I can do today.
$30 seems low. What's the catch?
No catch, but Basic is narrow on purpose. It covers one clear bug on one page. If I open your site and find the problem is spread across ten files or a broken database, I'll say so and send you a custom offer. I won't quietly do half the job.
What if your fix breaks something else on the site?
I back up every file before I edit it, and I send you the originals along with the fixed versions. If something I touched breaks, I fix it free. That's not a guarantee about the rest of your site, since old code has surprises I can't see from the outside.
How many revisions do I get?
One on Basic, two on Standard, three on Premium. A revision means the fix didn't work or didn't match what you described. New requests, like adding a feature I never quoted, go into a separate offer so the price stays honest for both of us.
Will you need my server password and FTP details?
I need FTP or file manager access to work, plus database access if the bug is in the data layer. Send it through Fiverr's message system only. Change the password after delivery, that's normal practice and I always suggest it.
Can you make my slow ASP pages load faster?
Often yes, and the cause is usually the database, not ASP itself. Loops that run a query inside them, missing indexes, and recordsets left open are the common ones. I measure the page load before and after so you see the actual difference, not a claim.
