About this Gig
Migration from Quickbooks to Zoho Books and vice versa including Chart of Accounts, Customers, Suppliers, Products, Sales, Payments Received, Bills, Expenses, Payment Made, Journal Entries, etc. Charges are based on number of transactions. Final quotation will be provided after evaluating the number and nature of transactions.
Scope of work will include the following:
- Migration of transactions with tweaks as needed due to change in the structure of both the applications.
- Matching of financials for each year of migration.
- Initial training if needed by the customer/employees on a chargeable basis (remote).
Exclusions:
- Purchase of license.
- Setting up of templates as we believe that this can be best setup by the marketing team or a person managing the business on a daily basis.
- Migration of attachments. This is a manual process and the cost will be quoted separately. The charges are calculated @$6 per hour.
- Data is migrated on as-is basis hence the accuracy of accounting in the base system is not checked by us.
Please note that we only assist in migrating the data from one application to another seamlessly and the intent is not to sell one product over the other.

FAQ
Do you migrate data from applications which are in non-english language?
Yes, we can if the data can be translated in understandable English language. However we recommend having a professional translator in between to avoid communication/understanding issues.
How do you export data from QuickBooks?
We use a third party tool for exporting/importing data from QuickBooks as it is not possible to do it from the front end. The subscription cost is included in the price
What details will be needed to provide the quotation?
Will need the following: 1. Journal report from Quickbooks/Zoho Books to check the number of transactions by transaction type. Alternatively you can provide read only access to Quickbooks/Zoho Books. 2. Nature of your business. 3. Number of attachments if any to be migrated.
Can you do reconciliation along with the migration?
My suggestion is either to get the accounts reconciled either before or after the migration to avoid confusion. Migration and reconciliation/accounting/bookkeeping are seperate activities.
Can you do integration with other applications?
No, integration with Zoho or non Zoho is out of the scope. Also we do not carry this expertise.
Can you provide training to the team on Zoho Books?
Any training or consultancy cost is not included in the standard package. Training/Consultancy can be provided @$50 per hour and will be additionally added to the standard package.
