What are the common issues in WordPress Sites ?
Usually the Wordpress Website is built with page builders and various features are added using plugins and add-ons. Unfortunately not all these add ons provide accessibility rich features and decrease your website overall scores. Such issues need manual fixing to avoid penalties and Lawsuits.
What should I do with Paid Plugins ? Are they repairable ?
Most of the plugins inject code into the page that is not accessible. If it is a premium plugin, the vendors are responsible to fix the errors it cause. In some cases, manual coding can also help fixing/adjusting the code errors in order to increase the site scores.
What is the connection between Accessibility and SEO ?
These two requirements belong to completely different domains however, improving one feature also improves the other; if a site is fully accessible, it enhances the SEO as well. However, accessibility is a vast domain and requires various rules ( categorised as A/AA standards ) and SOPs.
do you use subscription based plugins to make WordPress website accessible ?
The process of making a website accessible is (30-40%) done using automated tools and (60-70%) through manual testing; so a plugin is never capable of making website accessible. The manual testing should be performed to fix all the errors as per WCAG 2 standards ( A, AA and AAA levels).
