I will design and review your flow cytometry panel, gating and paper figures
PhD immunologist, flow cytometry panel, gating and figure review
About this Gig
Stuck on a flow panel, a gating strategy that won't hold up, or a reviewer asking about your FACS plots? AI can draw gates; it can't tell you whether they're biologically right.
I'm a Ph.D. immunologist working in an Academia Sinica research environment on immunology and hematology. Most of my work is bone marrow and hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell (HSPC) flow, including rare populations and spectral panels.
What I do:
- Panel design: marker and fluorochrome choice, spillover and spread, controls (FMO, single stains, viability)
- Gating strategy and troubleshooting: messy compensation or unmixing, dim markers, doublets, rare-event gates
- Pre-submission review: I check your flow figures and gating against what reviewers usually question, and give you clear, prioritized fixes
- Reviewer response: help drafting the flow-related answers and any new figures
Add-on: hands-on FlowJo analysis of your FCS files, publication-ready plots, and Python statistics. scRNA-seq comparison is possible on request.
Please message me before ordering with your species, tissue, cytometer and goal, and I'll confirm the scope. Your data stays confidential.

FAQ
Do you need my raw FCS files?
For a panel review, no; the marker list and cytometer configuration are enough. For gating or figure review, FCS files (or FlowJo .wsp files) give the best results.
Which cytometers and software?
Conventional and spectral cytometers; FlowJo for analysis; Python for statistics and plotting.
Can you guarantee my paper gets accepted?
No. I give an expert, evidence-based critique and concrete fixes, and the scientific decisions stay with you.
Do you work on clinical or diagnostic samples?
Research use only. I don't provide diagnostic interpretation.
