I will developmentally edit, proofread and format your memoir or nonfiction book
About this Gig
Your story matters. But even a great story can lose readers if its hard to follow.
After weeks of writing and rewriting, most authors cant see their own manuscript clearly anymore. Thats where I come in. I help memoir and nonfiction writers turn rough drafts into books readers finish, remember, and recommend.
Heres how I help:
- Developmental Editing: structure, pacing, flow, and a clear message
- Line & Copy Editing: grammar, style, and consistency
- Proofreading: a final check for typos and punctuation
- Formatting: print and eBook layouts ready for Amazon KDP
When you work with me:
- Honest feedback, not empty praise
- Tracked changes you can accept or reject
- On-time delivery
- Your voice stays yours
Tell me who your book is for and what you want readers to feel or learn. Ill tell you the first thing Id fix. No pressure, just a straight answer.

FAQ
What’s the difference between developmental editing, copy editing, and proofreading?
Developmental editing covers structure, pacing, and message. Copy editing fixes grammar and style. Proofreading is the final typo check.
Which package should I choose?
Basic for a final check, Standard for smoother writing, Premium for a full edit plus formatting. Not sure? Message me.
Can you edit books longer than 10,000 words?
Yes. Add the “Extra 5,000 words” gig extra as many times as needed, or message me for a quote.
Will you change my voice or story?
No. I suggest improvements, but you approve every change.
Which genres do you work with?
Memoir, nonfiction, and self-help.
How will I see your edits?
Through tracked changes and comments. Standard and Premium also include an annotated manuscript.
I’m writing a memoir about personal or painful experiences. Is that okay?
Yes. I handle personal stories with care and respect, and your manuscript stays confidential.
