FAQ
What Can I Expect During the Book Formatting Process?
To get started, I'll need your final edited manuscript in MS Word (.doc/.docx) or another editable format. I'll then professionally format your book, including the layout, typography, margins, spacing, headers, footers, and pagination, to create a publication-ready interior.
What Are the Most Common Book Sizes?
The most common trim sizes for trade paperback and hardcover books are 5" × 8", 5.5" × 8.5", and 6" × 9". The ideal size depends on your book's genre, target audience, and publishing goals.
Can You Format Books in Languages Other Than English?
Yes! I can format books in languages other than English. Simply provide your final, proofread manuscript, and I'll preserve your content while creating a professional, publication-ready layout. As long as the text is properly translated, you're ready to go.
What File Formats Will I Receive Upon Delivery?
You'll receive a print-ready PDF for paperback or hardcover publishing, a reflowable EPUB for eBook distribution, and the source file for future editing or revisions.
Do I Need to Provide Images or Illustrations for My Book?
Yes. If your book includes images or illustrations, please provide them in high-resolution format. I'll professionally place and optimize them within the layout, ensuring they align with your design preferences and meet print and digital publishing standards.
Does This Gig Include Book Cover Design?
No. This gig includes book formatting and interior layout design only. Book cover design is available as a separate service. If you need both, feel free to contact me for a custom package tailored to your project.
