FAQ
What bookkeeping software do you use?
I work with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Wave, ZohoBooks, NetSuite, and Free Agent.
Why is E-Commerce accounting different from standard bookkeeping?
E-commerce deposits are net payouts that hide fees and refunds. I break down every payout so your gross sales, seller fees, refunds, and sales tax are accurately reported in your books.
How do you handle Shopify, Amazon fees and refunds?
I sync or manually reconcile payout summaries (using tools like custom CSV clearing workflows) to separate gross sales, merchant processor fees, refunds, and held reserves before mapping them to your Chart of Accounts.
Can you help calculate Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)?
Yes. If you provide starting inventory, purchases during the period, and ending inventory levels (or unit costs per item sold), I will record accurate COGS entries on your P&L statement.
What information do you need to get started?
To start, I’ll need access to your accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero), bank statements or read-only bank feed access, and access/reports from your sales channels (Shopify, Amazon etc.)
