I will build inventory and demand forecasting dashboards to stop stockouts
Transforming Data Into Clarity, Insights, and Results
About this Gig
Running out of stock when demand spikes, or sitting on inventory that won't move both cost you money, and spreadsheets alone can't tell you which is coming next. If you're tracking inventory and sales manually and making reorder decisions on gut feel, you're either tying up cash in excess stock or losing sales to empty shelves.
I build the forecasting and dashboard tools that give you that visibility, without the cost or complexity of enterprise software.
What you get:
- A demand forecasting model built from your historical sales data (using Python and statistical forecasting methods), so you can see what's likely to sell in the coming weeks or months
- An interactive Power BI dashboard showing inventory levels, turnover rates, and reorder points at a glance
- Clean, organized data I'll handle the SQL queries and Excel cleanup needed to get your raw sales/inventory data into a usable shape
- A dashboard you can actually use afterward, not a one-time PDF built so you can refresh it with new data going forward
I work across SQL, Power BI, Python, and Excel, which means I can meet you wherever your data currently lives.

FAQ
What format does my data need to be in?
Excel, CSV, or a SQL export all work fine — I'll clean and structure it as part of the project either way. If your data is spread across multiple files or systems, let me know in advance so we can scope that into the package.
My historical data is messy or only covers a few months. Will the forecast still work?
I can work with limited or imperfect data, but forecast accuracy improves significantly with at least 6-12 months of consistent sales history. With less data or inconsistent record-keeping, I'll be upfront about the confidence level of the forecast rather than presenting it as more precise than it i
Does this work for my specific industry?
The approach (forecasting demand patterns, tracking inventory turnover, flagging reorder points) applies across most product-based SME businesses, retail, e-commerce, distribution, light manufacturing. If your business has unusual seasonality or supply constraints, mention that upfront so the model
What if I need changes after delivery?
Each package includes revision rounds as listed above. Beyond that, I'm happy to take on additional revisions or ongoing updates as a separate, smaller-scope order.
Will I be able to use the dashboard myself afterward, or do I need you for every update?
You'll receive the Power BI dashboard file and can refresh it yourself once you understand how to swap in new data, I'll include basic instructions, and Premium includes a walkthrough call. If you'd rather not maintain it yourself, ongoing monthly updates can be arranged separately.
