Do I need to give you access to my codebase?
Not necessarily. For most gigs I only need your site URL and login credentials if the app is behind authentication. I'll let you know if I need anything else after reviewing your project.
Which is better — Playwright or Cypress?
Both are excellent. Playwright is better for multi-browser testing and more complex flows. Cypress is simpler and great for React/Vue apps. If you're unsure, just message me and I'll recommend the right one for your stack.
Will the tests work in my CI/CD pipeline?
Yes. All test files are delivered ready to run in standard pipelines like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI. If you need help integrating them, mention it before ordering and I'll include it in the quote.
What if my app requires a login to test?
That's completely fine and very common. Just share test credentials (a staging account works perfectly) and I'll handle the rest securely.
Can I request specific pages or flows to test?
Absolutely — that's exactly how we start. You tell me what matters most (checkout, signup, dashboard, etc.) and I prioritize those flows first.
What do I receive at the end?
You get the full test files (ready to run), a summary report of what was tested and what was found, and screen recordings of the test runs depending on your package.
What if something breaks or a test fails after delivery?
I include revisions in every package. If a test fails due to something on my end, I'll fix it within the revision count. If your app changes after delivery, that would be a new order.
Q: Do you test mobile apps?
Not with this gig. Playwright and Cypress are web-based tools. If you need mobile app testing, feel free to message me and we can discuss options.
