I will test debug and write unit tests for your python or cpp code
Engineer
About this Gig
Shipping code without proper testing means bugs show up in production instead of before release. I test your Python or C++ code functions, modules, or full programs manually and with automated unit tests and give you a clear report of what works and what breaks.
What I do:
Manual code review edge cases and boundary conditions
Automated unit tests (pytest / Google Test) you can re-run anytime
Bug reports exact input that breaks it, expected vs actual output
Input validation & edge case testing
Regression testing confirming a fix didn't break anything else
I design test cases that target edge cases most people miss, and document every failure clearly enough that fixing it is straightforward.
Why work with me:
- Engineering background structured, methodical approach
- Comfortable in both Python and C++
- Test scripts are yours to keep and reuse
- Honest scope I'll flag upfront if a task needs more time
Perfect for developers wanting a second pair of eyes, students verifying scripts, or anyone stress-testing code before relying on it.
Not sure which package fits? Send me your code and I'll recommend the right scope.

FAQ
What do I need to provide to get started?
A: Your code (files or a repo link), a short description of what it's supposed to do, and any known problem areas or specific concerns you already have.
What will I actually receive at the end?
A: A structured bug/test report (issue, input that triggers it, expected vs. actual result), plus the automated test scripts if your package includes them — these are yours to keep and reuse.
What's the difference between the packages?
A: Basic covers manual review and testing of a single function/small script. Standard adds automated unit tests for a module (multiple functions) plus edge case testing. Premium covers a full program/multi-file project with a complete automated test suite and regression testing.
Will we talk before you start testing?
A: Yes — please share your code and what matters most to you first. I confirm scope before starting so nothing important gets missed.
What if you find a bug — do you fix it too, or just report it?
A: My core service is testing and reporting, not fixing. If you'd like me to also fix the bugs I find, message me — I can quote that as an add-on since it's extra development work beyond testing.
Can you test something more complex than what's in the packages (large codebase, full application)?
A: Yes — send me your project details first and I'll send a custom quote.
